DETROIT, Mich.-The 2010-11 edition of Mustang men's basketball grew on Tuesday with the signing of Connor Kulick - senior center from Winans Academy.
Kulick, a 6'9"
strong forward/center, has been well-documented for his physical play around
the basket. The punishing near-7' presence possesses plenty of raw ability
after only playing one season of high school basketball. As a freshman, Kulick
helped lead his AAU Team, The Family, to the national tournament in Florida. Once there, his
team picked up valuable experience while playing the nation's finest talent for
their age.
Assistant
Coach Tasaun Ziegler (also pictured) was the primary recruiter for Kulick.
Coach Donahue on Kulick: Connor is a fine young man with plenty of size. He fits into our scheme well and should have a solid career as a Mustang. I look forward to Connor bringing his toughness to each and every practice this fall.
