De'Vontay Green

WATERFORD, Mich.-Signing number two of three from Waterford Mott High School went to talented senior, De'Vontay Green. Like Coleman, Green signed a 2010-11 Letter of Intent in front of friends and family at Mott High School.

Green, a 6' combo-guard, comes to Marygrove after leaping over the competition in the Kensington Lakes Activities Association (KLAA). A solid senior season earned the athletic guard KLAA All-Conference Second Team honors. His efforts helped pace the Corsairs to back-to-back KLAA North Division Championships in his junior and senior seasons. Most recently, the successful squad topped all other teams by winning a 2009-10 KLAA Conference Crown.

Always on the court, Green took his game to the AAU level as a member of the Oakland County Hornets.

Asst. Coach Covington on Green: De'Vontay is an extremely athletic addition to our program. He is a well-coached young man that should provide a spark in practice every day. I look forward to a successful four years from him as a Mustang.
