LIVONIA, Mich.-A trip to Livonia on Friday marked the conclusion of a two-signing day for Mustang men's soccer. Livonia's Clarenceville High School continued their tradition of sending student-athletes to Detroit's Northwest campus when Gaven King inked a 2010-11 Letter of Intent.

King, a 6'1" sweeper, is headed to Marygrove as one of Clarenceville's most determined student-athletes. Over the course of his three years on varsity, King was a leader by example by pushing himself each day to make the team better. The team-first vision eventually earned him the 2009 Coaches Award in his final season for the Clarenceville Trojans.

The well-rounded student-athlete also ran track for the Trojans for three seasons.

Coach Johnson on King: Gaven is a great young man that will bring a lot to our team both on and off the field. He is a hard worker that comes from a talented soccer family. I look forward to coaching Gaven and watching him grow as a player over the next four years.
