DETROIT, Mich. -- Dearborn Crestwood's Brandy Lynch signed a 2012-13 Letter of Intent to continue her career on the pitch at Marygrove College in the fall. The commitment from Lynch is the sixth signing for women's soccer of the 2012 class.

Lynch, a 5'1" well-rounded athlete, will head to Marygrove with championship experience after her playing days are complete at Dearborn Crestwood High School. In 2009-10, Lynch helped lead a talented Crestwood squad to a district championship alongside current Mustang Bianca Berry. The pair will reunite next year on the pitch for what promises to be an exciting year for a loaded Mustangs squad.

Aside from three years on varsity at Crestwood, Lynch gained valuable experience at the club level while playing with WAZA East (2011), Dearborn Heights, and Dearborn. The multi-sport athlete participated in two other sports (pom-pon and volleyball) in high school before committing solely to soccer in the latter part of her career.

Lynch plans to pursue a degree in Biology - Pre-Dentistry while competing collegiately at the NAIA level.

Coach Williams on Lynch: Brandy is a great addition to our program. She is a smart player that will compete immediately for significant playing time. Brandy comes from a great program and has strong soccer background. With hard work, Brandy will enjoy a successful career as a Mustang. I look forward to coaching her in the fall.
