LIMA, Ohio -- The Mustangs (4-7-2; 2-1-2 WHAC) were handed their first conference loss after dropping a 5-0 decision to the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers (6-6; 3-2 WHAC).

The Racers have won their last three conference matches en route to outscoring opponents 14-1.

Two first half goals put the Mustangs in a hole they could not climb out of as the Mustangs only were able to muster one shot on goal during Wednesday's (Oct. 10) match.

The Racers were led by Gabriel Falcon with three points.

The Mustangs will turn around and face conference front-runner Cornerstone University (9-2-1; 6-0 WHAC). The Golden Eagles have not lost a match since Sept. 19. The two conference heavyweights will go toe-to-toe Saturday at 3:00pm at Marygrove College.
