The Panthers (2-0) welcome the Mustangs to the conference after toppling NCAA DII Northern Michigan University. Last season's conference champion will look to begin their title defense against the conference newcomer Mustangs.

The Mustangs opened the season with a 37-point victory over Kuyper College, but will face a stiff test when they tip at 1 p.m. Saturday against NAIA perennial power Davenport.

Senior forward Keara Marks (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance) will continue her march toward becoming the third player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Marks enters Saturday's WHAC opener 21 points shy of 1,000.

Marks is one of many Mustangs that look to make a statement for the Mustangs as they open their inaugural season of WHAC play.
