DETROIT, Mich. -- A 15-0 run to end the first half put the visiting Bulldogs of Adrian College (4-0) up for good as they would go on to top the Mustangs (0-7, 0-2 WHAC) by an 80-55 final.

With 5:42 left to play in the first half, senior guard Cameron Coburn (Bay City, Mich./All Saints) drilled a three pointer to put the Mustangs ahead by six, 24-18. Unfortunately, the field goal would be the final time the Mustangs scored in the first half as the Bulldogs closed the first stanza on a 15-0 run.

In the second half, the Mustangs had a tough time scoring once again as the Bulldogs continued a fifteen-minute portion of the game that was witness to a 49-9 Bulldog spurt.

Cameron Coburn and Darryl Foster (Southfield, Mich./Missouri Valley College) led the Mustangs with nine points each.

The Mustangs will open their WHAC home season with a 7:30 p.m. tip against fellow conference newcomer, Lawrence Tech.
