DILLON, Mont. -- A team trip to Montana was made possible after a lineup of three games in three days against fellow NAIA schools was scheduled in the offseason. On Saturday (Nov. 24), the Mustangs (1-4, 0-2 WHAC) played their second of three games in Big Sky Country.

Lacking a ton of depth, head coach Antonio Hitchcock and the Mustangs couldn't find their legs in their day two matchup against the Bulldogs of Montana Western. The Bulldogs would win the contest 88-61 after outshooting the Mustangs 50%-to-32% from the field.

The Mustangs showcased balance in the scoring column as three reached double figures. Candice Minus (Flint, Mich./Mott) led the way with 13 points, while Ciara Moore (Detroit, Mich./Northwestern) and Diamond Murray (Pontiac, Mich./West Bloomfield) each added 11.

Carroll College (2-2) awaits the Mustangs on Sunday (Nov. 25). Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. EST.
