LIMA, Ohio -- The Mustangs (1-18, 1-10 WHAC) ran into a Northwestern Ohio Racers (10-8, 6-5 WHAC) squad that is hard to beat on their home floor in Lima, Ohio, with their only losses coming to the conference's top-two teams (both nationally ranked).

The Racers would use their home court advantage to pull away from the Mustangs and take a 95-71 conference decision to give the Mustangs their 10th conference loss of 2012-13.

For the second straight game, freshman guard Diante Taylor (Battle Creek, Mich./Central)  recorded a double-double after netting career highs in points and rebounds with 24 and 13 respectively. The 24-point, 13-rebound night followed a 14-point, 11-rebound effort in a narrow loss to Siena Heights Thursday (Jan. 10).

The back-to-back double-double performances are the only two of the season for the upstart freshman that also added five steals and three assists in the setback.

Jordan Al (Dearborn, Mich./Dearborn) and Kenny Enoex (Warren, Mich./Fitzgerald) each added nine points for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs return home Wednesday (Jan. 16) for a matchup against nationally-ranked top-10 Davenport University at 7:30 p.m.
