ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The host Cardinals of Concordia University-Ann Arbor (22-4, 17-1 WHAC) used an efficient effort to fly past the Mustangs, 86-52.

The nation's #7 team and WHAC-leading Cardinals completed a well-rounded day that ended in a 2:1 assist-to-turnover ratio of 25 assists to 12 turnovers compared to a six assist to 14 turnover effort for the Mustangs.

Playing one of the nation's top teams, the Mustangs (1-23, 0-18 WHAC) once again didn't back down despite being shorthanded without leading scorer Keara Marks (Detroit, Mich./Renaissance).

Ciara Moore (Detroit, Mich./Northwestern) poured in a game-high 21 points in the loss. Freshman guard Elisha Major (Flint, Mich./Flushing) would follow with 16 points.

Senior forward Jessica Niemi (Swartz Creek, Mich./Swartz Creek) snagged 12 rebounds to lead the Mustangs on the glass.

Concordia was led by WHAC leading scorer Abbey Hengesbach with 16 points. Three other Cardinals would reach double figures scoring.

Indiana Tech will visit Ford Field House Wednesday (Feb. 6). Tipoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
