DETROIT, Mich. -- The men's track & field program, led by head coach LaCema Womack, will enter their first outdoor event of 2013 when they travel to Toledo, Ohio, to take part in the 8th Annual Toledo Collegiate Challenge hosted by the University of Toledo.

Distance runners highlight a list of Mustangs ready to kick off the 2013 outdoor season when sophomores Robert Crockett (Detroit, Mich./King), Akil Prowell (Detroit, Mich./Crockett), and freshman Jonathon Rutkowski (Riverview, Mich./Gabriel Richard), enter the 5,000m race. The trio hopes to showcase their cross country and indoor track distance prowess in a loaded Toledo field.

Crockett will also enter the 800m at Saturday's Toledo Collegiate Challenge.

Freshman Jalen Wilson (Detroit, Mich./CMA) is set to enter the 200m and 400m hurdles Saturday (03/30).
