Men's Track & Field - Fri, May. 3, 2013

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Sophomore cross country and track & field student-athlete Robert Crockett (Detroit, Mich./King) was rewarded for his efforts by being named to the WHAC's 2013 Men's Outdoor Track & Field Champions of Character Team. The honor was the second of 2012-13 for the sophomore after Crockett was named to the Champions of Character Team at the conclusion of the indoor season.

Named to the character team by head coach LaCema Womack, Crockett is an excellent leader for the young cross country and track & field programs at Marygrove College. Crockett's hard work on and off the track earned him the double honor this year after he best represented the NAIA's Live 5 initiative by demonstrating the core values of Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship.
