DETROIT, Mich. -- Marygrove College's athletic website, MarygroveMustangs.com, underwent a recent overhaul as part of an ongoing effort to enhance the department's overall communications efforts. The website, a NAIA-SIDA Top-10 outsourced site nationally for 2012-13, unveiled an enhanced video portal, added a gameday live feed, and brought the department's social media chatter into an updated one-stop-shop for the many student-athletes, parents, and fans that follow Marygrove College Athletics.
The new video portal, Mustang Vision (left), is now featured on every sport page and will be host to all video offerings from the department, including but not limited to, coach and student-athlete interviews, periodic game highlights, and weekly recaps. Currently, Mustang Vision features preseason interviews for men's soccer and women's volleyball, as well a teaser video promoting the department's One Team – One Goal – One Marygrove campaign. The Mustang Vision portal allows viewers to access all video content on the athletic department website rather than opening another browser to view on YouTube.
A Gameday Live tab (below, right) was also created to further promote the live coverage offered by Marygrove College and the host institutions for the Mustangs' away games. All contests featuring live feeds – audio, stats, and/or video – will be available in the new tab.
Finally, the athletic department's facebook, twitter, and YouTube feeds were centralized on the website in a Mustang Media widget (left). The new widget brings all three media feeds into one platform allowing for easier sharing and viewing of the latest athletic department content.
All upgrades are available below the scoreboard and schedule sections on the site.
