GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The women's volleyball team ran into one of the WHAC's hottest teams in their first trip to Grand Rapids this week as the host Aquinas College Saints (13-6, 5-3 WHAC) swept the Mustangs, 25-10, 25-10, and 25-15. The loss drops the Mustangs to 15-11 overall and 0-7 in the WHAC heading into Saturday's (Oct. 19) conference test at Davenport.

In the road tilt at Aquinas, the Mustangs (15-11, 0-7 WHAC) couldn't get things going as they managed 20 kills against 25 attack errors in their seventh conference contest of the season. Aquinas, the WHAC's sixth place team, countered with 33 kills to only eight attack errors on the night.
