Everton (Tony) Williams will be entering his first season as Head Coach of the Marygrove College Mustang Women's Soccer program, also its inaugural season. Williams, a well-known figure in boy's and girl's soccer in the metro area, looks forward to building a first class program at Marygrove College.

Williams has coached at the high school level for over 11 years. Over the 11 year period, Williams made stops to coach at Rochester Adams, Pontiac Central and Waterford Kettering High Schools. In 1992, Williams guided the Rochester Adams girl's soccer team to a MHSAA State Championship.

The experience Williams will lean on is his familiarity with starting an intercollegiate soccer program. In 1997, Williams had the task of starting the men's soccer program at St. Mary's College (MI). In his second season, he guided St. Mary's to a second place finish in the 1998 Small College Association National Championship.

Williams earned his Masters Degree in the Art of Teaching at Marygrove College in 2006. Currently, he is working towards his Doctorate through Capella University. Williams has served as a teacher and mentor for the past seven years. Always the teacher, Williams has directed Everton Soccer Camps in the metro area for 20 years.
