UNIONTOWN, PA-A gigantic first half comeback was the catalyst for a 71-68 victory in the fifth place game at the 2010 USCAA National Championships. The Mustangs (down 23-8 early) used a 27-to-9 run to close the first half and eventually take home their tenth victory of the season.

DENVER, CO-On Saturday, the Mustangs led by as many as 12 over host and #1 Johnson & Wales University. The Mustang lead lasted nearly wire-to-wire before the Wildcats stole the game in the final minute winning, 64-60.

DENVER, CO-The Mustangs take flight tomorrow to Denver, CO for the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Tournament. The conference championship will play host to four teams with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament.

DETROIT, Mich.-On Saturday, the Mustangs' final regular season game marked a rivalry showdown against Rochester College. The matinee match-up started off well, but quickly went south as the Mustangs found it difficult to hit a shot to end the first half. The visiting Warriors capitalized on Mustang hard times en route to an 80-61 win.

DETROIT, Mich.-Junior forward Eric Johnson (Southfield, Mich./Lathrup) was named USCAA Player of the Week for the week ending February 7, 2010. The award would be Johnson's second POW honor this season.
