GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-A midweek showdown in Grand Rapids against the Grace Bible College Tigers was all the womens' basketball team needed to get back on track after their three game losing streak. The Mustangs (9-11) put the pedal to the floor from the tip en route to a 95-76 taming of the Tigers.

GARY, Ind.-A key NAIA/USCAA battle took place Saturday inside the Savannah Center on the campus of Indiana University Northwest. The host Redhawks wore down the Mustangs with dominant post play from one of the NAIA's best centers in the country, Sharon Houston.

WINDSOR, Ont.-A road trip across the border did not come as a vacation for the Mustangs. With their shots not falling, the Mustangs were unable to overcome a 10-point halftime deficit and eventually lost a close battle, 66-55. A 29% effort from the field hindered the Mustangs from overtaking the Saints lead.

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich.-The Mustangs were able to escape Andrews University with a win despite playing one of their worst games of the season. An early season 89-46 rout of the Cardinals was a prelude to Wednesday's showdown that ended in a much different fashion.

OBERLIN, Ohio-The Mustangs made the familiar trek to Ohio for another match-up against an Ohio college power. The Yeos of Oberlin College awaited the Lady Mustangs on Saturday in a battle of two reeling teams as of late.

CANTON, Ohio-The Mustangs hit the road for Ohio over the holiday break to participate in the Malone/Walsh Classic on the 29^th & 30^th. Injuries plagued the Mustangs in both games against the NAIA Ohio powers as they dropped both to slide to 5-7 on the season.
