LAKE PLACID, NY -- Snowy conditions were no match for a tough Mustang squad as they pushed through the elements to finish 12th nationally at the 2011 USCAA National Championship Meet. Leading the way for the Mustangs was junior Anthony Butler (Lincoln Park, Mich./Roosevelt).

DETROIT, Mich. -- In October, the men's and women's cross country teams volunteered at the Detroit Free Press Marathon. The pair of teams made the trip downtown for the second time in as many years to help give back to all of the participants in the annual event.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Mustangs put forth a strong effort at Saturday's NAIA Great Lakes Invitational. The 8k race was loaded with some of the NAIA's top talent and featured over 300 runners as part of a packed field.
HILLSDALE, Mich.-The men's cross country team headed to Hillsdale College looking to carry last week's momentum into the 2011 Michigan Intercollegiate Championships. A strong effort ended in helped the Mustangs finish 21st on the afternoon.
LANSING, Mich.-On Friday, the men's cross country team finished the most successful day in program history by record six personal records between their attached and unattached runners.
EAST LANSING, Mich.-On Friday, the Mustangs traveled to Michigan State University to take part in the annual Spartan Invitational. The large invite took place at Forest Akers East Golf Course and played host to over 4,800 athletes and 300 teams from college to middle school participants in their respective races.

NORTHVILLE, Mich.-The 2011 cross country season got underway this
weekend when the men and women participated in the 25th Annual
Running Fit / Detroit Titan Invite. The invite was held at the always difficult
course inside Cass
Benton Park in Northville.
