LAKE PLACID, NY -- As she has done all season, junior Shana DeVoe (Ortonville, Mich./Brandon) led the Mustangs to the finish line. This time, DeVoe was able to put together a great effort when it counted the most. Her time of 26:53 in the 6k race was good enough for 13^th place overall.

EAST LANSING, Mich.-The women's cross country team competed in their second race of the season Friday afternoon at the Spartan Invitational. The large invite was hosted by Michigan State University and took place on-campus at Forest Akers East Golf Course.

DETROIT, Mich.-New Coach LaCema Womack leads a youthful Mustang squad into her first season at the helm. Leading the charge for Womack's Mustangs is Shana DeVoe (Ortonville, Mich./Brandon) who returns after competing for a national championship in New Hampshire last season.
