HARRISON TWP., Mich. -- Coach Michael Love signed an important piece to the 2012 puzzle with a commitment from former L'Anse Creuse standout, Shelby Dogariu.

DETROIT, Mich. -- Michael Love assumed the women's volleyball head coaching position days before preseason training last season and was left with no time to recruit. On Tuesday, Coach Love showcased his recruiting prowess with the signing of his first student-athlete to the 2012 class.

The win comes in the midst of a possible playoff push for the third year Mustang squad.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Coach Love and the Mustangs improved to 15-22 on the season after leaving Grand Rapids with a pair of victories. The wins came at Kuyper College as the Mustangs competing in a tri-match against Mount Mary College (NCAA D3) and the host Cougars.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-On Thursday, the Saints of Aquinas College downed the Mustangs in straight sets 14-25, 14-25, and 18-25 to improve their record to 13-6 on the season. The Mustangs, still hopeful for a chance at NAIA and USCAA postseason play, dropped to 11-15 this season.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.-A split at the Rochester College Tri-Match brought the Mustangs record to 11-15 this season. Despite being Rochester's Triangular, the matches were hosted at Lawrence Tech University due to a scheduling conflict.

ADRIAN, Mich.-A Friday evening match ended in three sets after the host Saints of Siena Heights University beat the Mustangs 25-16, 25-22, and 25-21.

DETROIT, Mich.-On Tuesday, the Mustangs (10-13) made quick work of a Grace Bible (2-13) squad that has struggled out of the gates this season. The victory over the Tigers took only 57 minutes in a 3-0 straight set sweep for the Mustangs.
