Baseball’s Weekend Series at No. 1 Cumberland Cancelled

DETROIT — Mother Nature strikes again! The weekend series for Marygrove baseball at reigning NAIA National Champion and current No. 1 Cumberland has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the Lebanon, Tenn. area. The cancellation now shifts the inaugural season-opener for head coach Ryan Kottke and the Mustangs to Monday (Mar. 2) at Florida Northwood. The opening pitch is slated for 3 p.m. with a live audio play-by-play stream available on the Mustang Sports Network beginning at 2:50 p.m.

Marygrove sports information will preview the Mustangs’ opening week in the Sunshine State this weekend with the first release of baseball game notes. Here is a look at the Mustangs spring trip schedule in Florida:
