After receiving high recommendation from a local recruiter, Danville, Illinois native Isaiah Carter drew the interest of the men’s coaching staff. Shortly after his first visit to the college Carter committed to the Mustangs. He signed a letter of intent to join the Mustang men this fall.

Carter, a 6’3″ versatile guard/forward from the Illini state, comes to Marygrove after a well-rounded high school career. The three year player assisted his team to a fourth place finish at the Pontiac Holiday Tournament while achieving greatness in the classroom. Carter was a mainstay on the honor roll and most recently was the recipient of an academic scholarship for his hard work in the classroom. He was also a Big Twelve Leadership Conference representative.

Coach Donahue on Carter: Isaiah is great all-around student-athlete. He is a driven young man that will be successful on and off the court at Marygrove. He is a great rebounder and passer from the small forward position. Isaiah will be an important part of our program for years to come.
