Jolly Commits to Nat’l Champion Mustangs

DETROIT, Mich.-On Friday, Mustang Sports Information traveled to Livonia Clarenceville High School for a dual-signing. The first student-athlete to sign, Kristen Jolly ( 5’7″ senior goalkeeper), will join the national champion women’s soccer team at Marygrove College.

Winner of her school’s clutch performance award, the hard-nosed goalkeeper will bring plenty of heart to the Mustang squad. Over the course of a successful four-year high school playing career, Jolly has proven to be a dedicated student-athlete who has the will to win. The two-time captain was awarded First Team All-Metro Conference honors last season for her play. The well-rounded athlete also played three years of varsity basketball for the Trojans.

As of Friday, the Trojans women’s soccer team was 1-3-1 on the young season.

Coach Williams on Jolly: Kristen is a great young lady with a bright future. She will join another talented goalkeeper on our team and will learn the college game from her. I look forward to a successful career from Kristen over the next four years.
