GARY, Ind.-The Mustangs boarded the bus for a Saturday trip to Gary
(IN) to take on NAIA and USCAA rival, Indiana University Northwest. A strong
performance was needed in order for the Mustangs to impress the (USCAA)
pollsters as the race towards the national championship tournament heats up.

DETROIT, Mich.-Marygrove College, located in northwest Detroit, today announced the addition of track and field to its fast-growing intercollegiate athletic program. The addition of track and field brings the total number of intercollegiate sports on the campus to nine.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-A midweek showdown in Grand Rapids against the Grace Bible College Tigers was all the womens' basketball team needed to get back on track after their three game losing streak. The Mustangs (9-11) put the pedal to the floor from the tip en route to a 95-76 taming of the Tigers.

MARION, Ind.-On Saturday, the Mustangs traveled to a top-ten national power, #7 ranked Indiana Wesleyan University. The Wildcats narrowly escaped Detroit with a victory early this season. The Mustangs entered the game in need of another marquee win to bolster their resume for postseason play.
